how did u make the design yourself if ur tracing it?
Comment from Bchilled:
My friend your designs are awesome. I myself am a artist and have done tattoos before for different people, but I have never done this type of tribal design. I am designing a meaningful tattoo for myself and it isn’t easy…..
I’m thinking along the lines of some of your designs with a touch of Native American, Egyptian, and African symbols… It isn’t easy coming up with this stuff. Any ideas would help.
Great vid.

If this guy wasn’t a designer, he wouldn’t be able to follow his own outline that fast and straight. I believe he drew this. Nice job and ignore the haters. It just means their not with the culture. Just sounds like he’s hating on your talent. Keep up the good work!

I can appreciate a good artist, but c’mon……true Polynesian tatau is’t designed it’s given to the wearer by the artist who knows what you are suitable to wear. A true tatau is free handed for the individual and has spiritual meaning, these you draw are great but should not be worn as tattoos,It would be disrespect…..P.s. I am white and i have had the honor of wearing KAKAU done in Hawai’i by one of the best artists on the islands. You need to have respect for the culture b4 getting any.

Been reading your comments mate…people are assholes..lol.. i think its a really good, nice bit of work.. And as for the fella that said he’s a tattooist and he knows your a fake, what a dick. I’m a tattooist and you would never be able to tell that from the way i draw, i dont draw the same way i tattoo.. Ignore it man, i thionk thats a bloody nice design, keep up the good work. : )

Comment from V7Mc:
I like your design, the different elements make it interesting.. ihiwehiwana chill out, the dude said he’s INSPIRED BY maori kirituhi, one interprets differently just like someone would draw a japanese koi in their own way.. If u have a look around modern kirituhi is influenced by all sorts of pacific styles now, not specific to maori design, and it comes down to whats important to the “wearer” also.
He maori ahau (I am maori) too..

nice jod any meaning to it tho?
i was wondering on getting a tat but trying to find some with good meanings.
Comment from ihiwehiwana:
i’m maori. i simply don’t get this design conceptually. it’s says nothing. it’s a mash of random designs. maori is more than this
Comment from MarshallRoseOfficial:
@kingwilzaz Just out of curiosity, as i also design tattoos and am currently searching for a tattoo apprenticeship, so what about the way he lines out is not genuine? as far as i knew, as long as you did continuous lines, as you would tattooing (i assume) then it works… of course as im not a tattooist, i cant say. advice would be very welcome
Comment from pumbaa19:
thats really cool… i want to get a similar one on my leg… i guess you can call it a sleeve but i want in to go from my knee to my ankle is there any way you could make one for me… i can pay you for it if you want but i think your work is really good and definantly worth having it shown…

@kingwilzaz erm if you’re a tattooist then you should know that most artists trace over the’re tattoos, and that most people use different techniques, btw nice work.

kirituhi literally means kiri skin and tuhi draw or write. skindrawing.
i have to say tho, the fills are all wrong. they dont sit well with the koru. its the fills that are important not the koru…
Comment from Beijibryn:
From his blog:
Kiri tuhi is the name for Maori-inspired tattoos that feature Maori motifs but don’t have real cultural meaning. Kirituhi literally means “skin art” and is used to differentiate between Maori-style tattoos and Moko
